Tone ChimesThe Dover Baptist Temple Tone Chimes have been a part of our church worship since 2002. The Tone Chimes are a traditional part of our yearly Christmas Eve Service as they accompany the "Lighting of the Candles" playing "Silent Night". Although Tone Chimes began as a youth activity, it has developed into an age encompassing group. Tone Chimes perform September through May with the flexibility of performing whenever the musical piece is prepared. We have a cushioned table for times when "changing out chimes" is necessary. However, the majority of our performances are two chimes per person allowing us to use stands only. While having the ability to read music is helpful, if you can count and you are Middle School age or older, you can play chimes. Our practices are Sunday nights from 6:30-7:00 with the exception of Food Family Fellowship Sunday's and we take summers off. See Barb Wasem if you are interested in joining Tone Chimes or fill out the form below. |
